Wild get crushed by Senators

(Ottawa, ON) — The Minnesota Wild played a disastrous game during a 6-0 loss to the Ottawa Senators at Canadian Tire Centre on Saturday.

Minnesota was outshot 52-16 in the losing effort. Filip Gustavsson held his own through most of the game, finishing with 46 saves. However, he allowed three goals in the final period to put the game away. Former North Dakota defenseman Jake Sanderson tallied four points on one goal and three assists for the Sens.

Minnesota is in third place in the Central Division with 66 points and a 31-18-4 record. The Wild visit the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night.
