Edwards leads Wolves past Rockets

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves put together a dominant fourth quarter during a 127-114 win over the Houston Rockets at the Target Center. The Wolves trailed by six entering the fourth before outscoring Houston 35-16 the rest of the way.

Anthony Edwards went over 40 points for the second night in a row, finishing the game with 41. This was his 14th career 40-point game, passing Karl-Anthony Towns (13) for the most in franchise history. Edwards also became the youngest player in NBA history to hit 1,000 career three-pointers. Jaylen Clark chipped in with 17 off the bench. Naz Reid added a 15-point and 11 rebound double-double, followed by Rudy Gobert’s 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Minnesota improved to 29-23. The T-Wolves host the Trail Blazers on Saturday night.
