(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild scored five straight goals during a 6-3 win over the New York Islanders at the Xcel Energy Center on Saturday. The Wild trailed 3-1 in the second period before rallying for five unanswered goals.
Matt Boldy lit the lamp twice in the victory, while Yakov Trenin, Freddy Gaudreau, Marcus Foligno, and Marco Rossi also scored. Minnesota is in third place in the Central Division with 70 points and a 33-19-4 record.
The Wild’s next game is on February 22nd against the Red Wings.
