FARGO, N.D. – The Fargo Park District says it’s looking to change its policy to raise the price of a seasonal pool pass by 159 percent.
Earlier this week the Fargo Park Board announced the cost of a seasonal pool pass would go from $193 to $500. Fargo Park District said the decision to raise the cost of a pass was to make sure the pools remain accessible, well-maintained and fully staffed.
The new Island Park Pool is expected to be completed this summer. The project costs $17.9 million and was paid in part by private donations.
