Moorhead Deputy Police Chief Jacobson retiring

(MOORHEAD, MINN) — Moorhead’s Deputy Police Chief is retiring.

Tory Jacobson has served the department for 34 years, working various positions such as K-9 handler, Sergeant, Lieutenant and Captain. City Manager Dan Mahli calls Jacobson ‘a special human being.’ Jacobson’s retirement comes after Police Chief Shannon Monroe announced he’ll be leaving the department later this year.

Jacobson’s last day is Friday.
