(FARGO, ND) – A juvenile was hurt after a pickup crashed into a residence in Fargo.
Police say it happened in the 4700 block of 10th Avenue South. Lieutenant Shane Aberle says the juvenile was stuck under the pickup when officers arrived. The juvenile was extricated with assistance from the Fargo Fire Department and was transported by ambulance to a local medical facility with serious injuries.
Officers arrested the driver of the pickup, Clinton Deckard, a 55-year-old Fargo resident, at the crash scene for driving under the influence and criminal vehicular injury. Deckard was injured in the crash; the extent of his injuries is unknown. Officers took him to a local medical facility to be medically cleared so he could be booked into jail.
Police say Deckard has not been medically cleared and remains at the local medical facility.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is assisting The Fargo Police Department with its ongoing investigation into the incident.
