FARGO, N.D. – A sex offender convicted of sexually assaulting a young girl over one year ago will spend more than a decade in prison.
In November 2023, Eduardo Cavazos, Jr. was charged with three counts of felony gross sexual imposition and one count for failing to register as a sex offender. In a Fargo courtroom a judge sentenced him to 11 years with 544 days served. Upon completion of that sentence, he will face five years’ probation.
Eduardo Cavazos was previously convicted of similar crime in Marshall County, Minnesota in 2019.
