BISMARCK, N.D. – A North Dakota program called ROOT is helping businesses attract skilled workers.
The Department of Commerce introduced the Relocation Opportunity for Outstanding Talent Grant Program to offer more relocation incentives for employees. Employers must provide a one-to-one match in relocation incentives, including moving expenses, hiring bonuses, or licensing fees. Money is paid out when an employee has completed the first pay period after relocation.
