MOORHEAD, MN — Police say a person was hospitalized for a mental health crisis after allegedly attempting to break into the FM Islamic Center early this morning.
Authorities say the male attempted to break in after midnight Thursday, and officers de-escalated the situation. The male, who authorities say was experiencing an “obvious mental health crisis”, was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
A member of the Mosque, who posted an update on social media, states a man attempted to burn down the building.
