(Fargo, ND) — A 21-year-old Enderlin woman is injured after crashing her SUV into the back of a passenger car which was left unattended in the “middle lane three” on southbound I-29.
It happened in the tri-level area in Fargo just before 3:00 Monday afternoon.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, 25-year-old Hailey Kindem stopped her passenger car on the highway, and got out of the car to look for a cat which had jumped out of a pickup in front of her.
The woman injured is identified as Keely Olson.
Olson was not wearing a seatbelt, but the air bags in her SUV deployed.
Her injuries are non-life threatening.
Kindem is charged with aggravated reckless driving and driving without a license.
Charges against Olson are pending.
The crash is under investigation.
The cat was not located.
