CASS COUNTY, ND – A man was killed and a woman seriously hurt when their SUV slammed into a jackknifed semi on I-94. It happened about 12 miles west of Casselton just before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night. The State Patrol says the 75-year old driver died at the scene. His 72-year old passenger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Troopers say roads were ice covered and there was falling snow and blowing snow. Two other commercial vehicles were jacknifed in that same area.
The semi driver could face charges. The investigation into the crash continues.
