463 Foundation holds youth suicide prevention event

(Fargo, ND) — An organization in Fargo is working to eliminate youth suicide in North Dakota.

The 463 Foundation hosted a suicide prevention event at Discovery Middle School in Fargo. The foundation was created by Todd and Elizabeth Medd of Fargo after they lost their son to suicide in 2021. Todd Medd spoke at the event, and told students and parents at the meeting that their goal is to make sure that a young person considering suicide hears the right message at the right time.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988.
