MOORHEAD, Minn. – The City of Moorhead has gotten a $62,000 grant from the Minnesota Historical Society and the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund for security improvements at the Hjemkomst Center.
The city says security cameras will be installed inside and outside the building to help safeguard exhibits, artifacts and the integrity of the facility.
“This grant is a step toward ensuring that future generations can continue to learn from and be inspired by the rich history and culture that the Hjemkomst Center represents,” the City of Moorhead said in a statement.
