(BISMARCK, ND) – Governor-elect Kelly Armstrong has announced some key appointments for his administration following the results of Tuesday night’s general election.
Retired Adjutant General Alan Dohrmann will serve as Chairman of Armstrong’s transition team, with former Office of Management and Budget director Joe Morisette and Armstrong-Strinden campaign manager Jacy Schafer serving as co-chairs.
The rest of the appointments announced Wednesday were that Roz Leighton will be the Governor-elect’s Chief of Staff; Dohrmann will serve as Chief Operating Officer; Christopher Joseph will serve as General Counsel; Schafer will serve as Deputy Chief of Staff; Aaron Weber will serve as Policy Director; current Communications Director for Governor Doug Burgum, Mike Nowatzki, will serve as the Communications Director under Armstrong; and Conner Swanson will serve as a Senior Advisor.
