Attorney General, Police Chief to hold press conference on Fargo officer-involved shooting

FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley and Fargo Police Chief David Zibolski will hold a press conference on Wednesday about the November 13, 2024 deadly officer-involved shooting of 65-year-old Peter Greco.

Officers were at a call for service in the 6100 block of 61st Avenue South. In November Zibolski said the department received numerous calls for service from Greco who was asking for medical assistance and was expressing suicidal ideations. Greco left the home armed with a gun. That’s when, Zibolski said, two officers shot him and he died at the scene.

The officers involved in the shooting have been identified as Sergeant Lucas Mock who is an eight-year veteran with Fargo Police. He joined the department in 2016 as a patrol officer and was promoted to sergeant in November 2021. He is a day shift supervisor in the Neighborhood Services Division. Sgt. Mock is the Commander of the FPD’s Crowd Management Team, previously served on the Red River Valley SWAT team for four years and was an instructor in the Training and Development Unit. Fargo Police Officer Princeten Harris has been with the department for 10 months and is a recent graduate of the Fargo Police Academy.

The North Dakota Department of Criminal Investigation is in charge of the investigation.
