Attorney General’s office releases more than 6,000 emails belonging to late Attorney General

(BISMARCK) – The North Dakota Attorney General’s Office has released more than 6,000 e-mails that were, at one time, thought to be lost after a staff member of the late North Dakota Attorney General, Wayne Stenehjem, asked North Dakota’s Information Technology Department to delete his e-mails after he died in early 2022.

“These are the records from the former Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem’s state email account that were recovered from his laptop,” Suzie Weigel, Executive Assistant to the Attorney General, Drew Wrigley, said in a statement.

We are currently going through examining the e-mails for content.
