BISMARCK, N.D. – Hunting and fishing license fees may be going up in North Dakota.
House lawmakers approved a bill that would raise fees to $20 for a small game license and $35 for a big game license. The bill would also raise a fishing license fee to $25, and increase the cost of a boat license.
Supporters of the bill say the money will be used to pay for conservation. If passed, it would be the first fee increase in 10 years.
