(BISMARCK, ND) – Bismarck State College has a new interim leader.
Dr. Dan Leingang has been appointed as Acting President of Bismarck State College, effective today. He replaces President Doug Jensen.
Leingang has a lengthy career at BSC, joining the campus in 2000 as an assistant professor of mathematics and was appointed dean of academic affairs in 2014 and later dean of humanities, arts, and sciences. He held that position until he was named vice president for academic affairs in 2017.
The North Dakota State Board of Higher Education will name an interim president at a January 9 special meeting.
