FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – Voters reject two Fergus Falls Public Schools bond referendums.
One vote would lead the district to issue school building bonds worth $48,840 to improve district facilities and build a new elementary school for third through fifth graders. 4,599 yes votes were cast. 6,304 people voted no.
The other vote was for the district to issue general obligation school building bonds for $910,000 to improve district facilities and construct new soccer and baseball fields and build an elementary school for grades three through five. 4,234 voters approved the plan and 6,417 voted against it.
