(FARGO) – The Cass County Commission has approved the 2025 budget.
A unanimous vote set the budget at more than $186 million dollars and a maximum mill levy of 52.55 mills on county property.
The mills equal the mills levied for the 2024 budget.
The county will add 32 new positions to the budget, with a majority of them staffing the new jail pod. A two-point-five percent cost of living adjustment and 12 percent increase in health insurance cost are also included.
