(GRAND FORKS, ND) – Those parking in downtown Grand Forks will see changes starting today.
At last night’s City Council meeting, the Grand Forks City Council approved a contract with Interstate Parking Company to take over the permitting and enforcement for parking in downtown ramps, surface lots and on-street parking.
All ticketing and ticket appeals will be handled by Dakota Parking.
Interim Police Chief Dwight Love says parking has been handled by the Grand Forks Police Department, but the new agreement frees up officers to handle public safety matters.
