Court Docs: Grand Forks stabbing motivated by “trash” comments by President Biden

GRAND FORKS, ND — A man claims he stabbed another man at a Grand Forks homeless shelter because he “felt pressured to act” by President Biden and Vice President Harris.

The attack happened last Friday morning at Northlands Rescue Mission. The suspect then stole a pickup truck and led police on a 40-mile chase before he was arrested. Moses Ayom is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder and reckless endangerment.

According to court records, Ayom said he interpreted a comment by President Biden last week that supporters of former President Trump are “trash.”

Police did not identify the 37-year-old victim, but did say he suffered life-threatening injuries, including a punctured lung.
