TORONTO, ON. – There are several people injured after a Delta Airlines flight from Minneapolis crashed at a Toronto airport Monday.
The regional jet operated by Endeavor Air reportedly crashed while landing at Toronto Pearson Airport. Officials said all passengers and crew are accounted for. Paramedics say at least nine people are being treated, with one person in critical condition.
“We’ve had one child that was taken by land ambulance to one of our sick kids hospitals in Downtown Toronto. We’ve had another patient airlifted to a trauma center we have in Toronto and the rest of our injuries are mild to moderate with most of them being able to walk on their own,” Local paramedic supervisor Lawrence Saindon said.
Pictures and video on social media showed the plane upside down with what appears to be passengers walking away from it. Weather conditions at the airport are snowy.
