Ellison Encourages Seniors To Examine Medicare Advantage Plans

MINNESOTA – Minnesota’s attorney general encourages seniors to research all their options before signing up for a Medicare Advantage plan.

Open enrollment ends Saturday and some Minnesota health providers have announced they won’t accept certain plans next year. Humana’s Medicare Advantage plan has been refused by six providers including Allina Health, Essentia Health and Sanford Health.

Attorney General Keith Ellison wants seniors to carefully examine the plans available for cost, coverage changes and acceptance before this year’s deadline.
