Energy Transfer issues statement following jury finding Greenpeace liable for damages related to DAPL protests

(DALLAS, TEXAS) — Energy Transfer is releasing a statement after a jury ruled Greenpeace is liable for damages from protests related to the Dakota Access Pipeline.

In a statement, Energy Transfer noted that, while Greenpeace ‘has been held accountable’ for their actions against Energy Transfer, ‘this win is really for the people of Mandan and throughout North Dakota who had to live through the daily harassment and disruptions caused by the protesters who were funded and trained by Greenpeace.’

It’s unknown the amount the judge awarded Energy Transfer.
