Fargo firefighters extinguish flames at north Fargo business Monday morning

(FARGO, ND) – Nobody was injured and a building sustained smoke damage after a fire Monday morning in north Fargo.

The Fargo Fire Department responded to NPS Metals, at 3801 15th Avenue North, just after 9 a.m. Monday morning on a report of a fire inside a shot blasting cabinet on the interior of the building. Upon arrival, firefighters observed smoke coming from the building and quickly extinguished the fire, which was confined to a shot cabinet and nearby equipment.

The building was filled with smoke, and all employees evacuated the facility. An employee used a fire extinguisher on the fire before exiting the building.

The cost of the damage is unknown.
