Fargo man wanted for murder arrested in Atlanta, Georgia

FARGO, ND — A Fargo man accused of murdering Sampson Bleh in August is in Atlanta Police custody.

The Fargo Police Department says Leo Dartoe was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia and is currently awaiting extradition to North Dakota. Dartoe is in custody in Atlanta and was arrested by the city’s police department and the U.S. Marshals Task Force.

Fargo Police accuse Dartoe of murdering 35-year-old Sampson Bleh on August 23rd in the 2200 block of 12th Avenue South in Fargo.

“The Fargo Police Department would like to acknowledge the United States Marshals Task Force and the Atlanta Police Department for their assistance in locating and arresting homicide suspect Leo Dartoe. We would also like to express our appreciation to the community for their assistance and support as this ongoing investigation continues,” stated Fargo Police Capt. William Ahlfeldt of the Criminal Investigations Division.
