FARGO, ND — A Fargo man is in custody after he allegedly assaulted a police officer at an apartment complex on Saturday.
Police were called to the complex to remove 54-year-old Matthew Nystrom, who was reportedly trespassing and yelling that he had a gun. Police say Nystrom ran from the officers when they approached, and he reportedly resisted arrest and kicked one of the officers while he was being arrested. He faces charges of trespassing, assault on a peace officer, preventing arrest, and terrorizing.
No gun was found, and Nystrom is due in court on October 9th.
