(FARGO, ND) – A Fargo woman was not injured but is facing charges after a crash involving a Fargo Police Department vehicle.
The crash happened at the intersection of 25th Street North and 7th Avenue North when a 2012 Dodge Journey, driven by 50-year-old Michelle Jensen, of Fargo, was westbound on 7th Avenue North when she disregarded a stop light and entered the intersection, colliding with the 2018 Ford Explorer Police Utility Vehicle, driven by 30-year-old Brady Nerpel, a Fargo Police officer.
Both vehicles came to rest in the middle of the intersection.
Jensen is facing charges of driving through a red light, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while license is suspended.
The Highway Patrol was requested to investigate the crash.
