BINFORD, N.D. – The FBI is investigating possible contamination in the water supply in Binford, North Dakota and took one person in custody.
Federal officials have not given any other information.
The City of Binford says tests by the North Dakota Department of Water Quality have came back negative for contamination and water mains were flushed as a precaution.
The city asked people to not drink, cook with or bathe in water and provided bottled water at the fire hall. Those restrictions have been lifted.
