BISMARCK, ND — Federal officials say a former Grand Forks Senator violated the conditions of his release several times.
Former Senator Ray Holmberg previously pled guilty in August to taking several trips to the Czech Republic to pay for sex with children. According to a federal court filing, Holmberg violated several conditions of his release, including internet access, using social media and traveling to a Fargo home while having his location monitored. According to the filing, authorities discussed the violations and conditions of release with Holmberg several times.
No date for sentencing for Holmberg is set at this time.
