Funeral services set for former N.D. Deputy Attorney General

(MANDAN) – Funeral services have been set for former North Dakota Deputy Attorney General Troy Seibel.

Seibel, 48, died September 3. It’s unclear where he died or the cause of death.

Services for Seibel will be held on September 21 at 11 a.m. at the DaWise-Perry/Mandan Crematory. Family and friends will gather beginning at 10 a.m.

Seibel, a 1995 graduate of Minot High School who went on to graduate with a bachelor’s degree from UND in 1999 and a law degree from the University of Denver in 2002, went on to work in private practice in Colorado and North Dakota, before working for North Dakota state government in 2013.

Seibel was appointed the state’s Labor Commissioner in 2014 and, in 2016, the late Attorney General, Wayne Stenehjem, appointed him Deputy Attorney General.
