(FARGO, ND) — A Glyndon juvenile has been arrested following a Tuesday night shooting.
On Tuesday, December 31 at 10:13 p.m., The Fargo Police Department was dispatched to multiple reports of a shooting the 2500 block of 15th Street South.
Upon arrival and after an initial investigation, officers learned that individuals attending a party had engaged in a physical altercation in the hallway of the apartment building. An occupant from a neighboring unit attempted to break up the altercation between two juvenile males in the hallway and was struck by gunfire. The shooting victim was taken to a local healthcare facility to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries; three other victims were treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the physical altercation.
The shooting suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. The Clay County Sheriff’s Department K9 Unit was called to assisted in conducting a search of the surrounding areas which did not yield any results.
The Metro Area Street Crimes unit was called to assist and later located and arrested the juvenile suspect at his residence in Glyndon, MN at 3:22 a.m. for aggravated assault with a firearm.
This investigation is still active and ongoing. No further information will be released at this time.
