CLEARWATER COUNTY, Minn. – A man and five children are hurt after an explosion near Bagley.

It happened around 12:30 Monday at a storage unit north of town on 370th Street. The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office says the man and children, ages six to 14, suffered burns.

Authorities say a propane tank leaked inside the metal storage unit. When the doors opened, the man lit a cigarette leading to the explosion. People passing by were able to help before first responders arrived.
