Gov. Tim Walz supports DFL Chair Ken Martin for DNC Chair

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Governor Tim Walz supports Minnesota DFL Party Chair Ken Martin to head the Democratic National Committee.

“Ken has built a national model for how to elect Democrats in a competitive state,” Walz said.

Martin says he has more than 100 endorsements, but the governor’s is the most high-profile so far.

Under Martin’s 14 years of leadership as DFL Party Chair, Democrats haven’t lost a statewide election.
