(GRAND FORKS, ND) – Grand Forks Police have detained two people following a shooting late Friday.
Grand Forks Police responded to a weapons violation at just before 11 p.m. in the area of the Ramada Inn, at 1250 North 43rd Street.
An initial investigation revealed a firearm was discharged in the parking lot of the hotel. Two victims were transported to Altru Hospital by private vehicle. Their injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.
Two subjects, who were attempting to flee the area, were detained by police near the scene. A further investigation led to one of the subjects being arrested for Attempted Murder. Police say the nature of the ongoing investigation may lead to additional criminal charges being filed.
