(GRAND FORKS) – Grand Forks Police say a suicidal man surrendered to police after more than three hours under the Kennedy Bridge in Grand Forks. Police responded at 5:44 p.m. Sunday after the subject was believed to have a handgun. After officers arrived, a single gunshot was heard from underneath the bridge.
The man was transported to Altru Hospital for mental health treatment. No charges were filed.
