(WASHINGTON, DC) — Senator John Hoeven has voted in favor of upholding the national energy emergency, which was declared by President Trump to unlock additional authorities empowering the development of U.S. energy resources and the infrastructure needed to get energy to market.
The emergency was upheld by a vote of 52-47. The vote comes on the heels of Hoeven’s Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to block implementation of Biden’s Natural Gas Tax, which passed as part of Democrats’ reckless tax-and-spend bill that passed in 2022.
Voting on the CRA is underway.
