(FARGO, ND) – Fargo Mayor Dr. Tim Mahoney says the city’s building permits are down compared to a year ago.
In Tuesday night’s City Commission meeting, Mahoney said the 2024 building permits that have been filed are valued at a total of $648 million, a decrease of nine percent over the same time period last year. The largest decrease was for multi-family housing permits, which are down 62 percent. Single-family housing permits are down by 14 percent compared to last year.
