HORACE, ND — A Horace man faces multiple charges after he allegedly stole an expensive piece of construction equipment last week in rural Cass County.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says 52-year-old Scott Adelman was arrested Tuesday for felony theft and fleeing, along with a misdemeanor drug offense. He is accused of driving off with a mini-excavator and dump trailer on Monday, and parking it outside a home in Davenport. Deputies located and arrested him the following day in Horace.
A court date is pending.
