Horse-drawn buggy, minivan collide in New York Mills

(NEW YORK MILLS, MINN) – Two people were injured Monday when a minivan collided with a horse drawn Amish buggy in New York Mills, Minn. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened just before 6 p.m. in the area of County Highway 67 and 370th Street. The minivan collided with the rear of the buggy. The driver of the minivan was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the buggy suffered severe injuries and was transported to Perham Health for further evaluation.

The crash remains under investigation.
