House Oversight Committee begins probe into Walz’s work related to China

(WASHINGTON, DC) – House Republicans have announced they’re launching an investigation into Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz, the current Governor of Minnesota.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer announced the committee is looking into Walz’s work related to China, including coordinating student trips. He sent a letter to Federal Bureau of Investigations Director Christopher Wray demanding documents and correspondence with Walz related to China.

Comer said Americans deserve to understand ‘how deep Governor Walz’s relationship with China goes.’

Walz, a former teacher and Congressman, has helped coordinate trips for students and has visited China more than 30 times.
