(FARGO) – Hundreds of area teachers gathered Wednesday for a lunch saluting them.
Flag Family Media hosted a Teacher Appreciation Day event in the parking lot of their headquarters, located at 2852 Thunder Road South in South Fargo.
“Teachers are the bedrock of our education system, and while superintendents and boards get most of the headlines, it is our great teachers, counselors, janitors and coaches who serve our kids and families every day,” Flag Family Media President and Managing Partner Steve Hallstrom said. “It was a treat for us to have them here today and along with our fantastic sponsors, make sure those huge-hearted people get a free lunch.”
