Inflation among reasons for less business, travel in Minnesota

(MINNEAPOLIS) — The peak traveling season in Minnesota has been slowing for hospitality businesses in the state. That’s according to a survey by the Minneapolis Fed, Hospitality Minnesota and Explore Minnesota Tourism. Half of businesses from restaurants to resorts had worse customer traffic from June to August compared with a year ago, which matched revenue trends for the same period. Inflation was one of the trending reasons for challenges to travel.
