WEST FARGO, N.D. – A West Fargo church says it’s missing $600,000.
The money was allegedly misused over many years where leaders from the Faith Journey Lutheran Church say it was likely done by a former employee. The church says credit cards were used for personal expenses and expense reports were falsified.
Church officials say they hired an attorney and are working with their insurance provider to hopefully recover losses. An investigation started last November but that former employee was locked out of the system in December and had left the church at that time.
