BISMARCK, ND — Job Postings across North Dakota have dipped slightly in the state as the summer comes to a close.
The Online Job Openings Report posted by the ND Labor Market Information Job Service shows a total of 12,744 public job postings this August. This marks a 3.3% decrease from July 2024, and a 9.1% decrease from August of 2023.
The decrease includes the number of job postings published for a total of 30 days or less, a total of 8,240 in August 2024 compared to 7,644 in July 2024. The number of job postings available between 31-90 days also went down; from 4,504 in August 2024 to 5535 in July 2024.
Looking at Cass County, the number of job postings also decreased by 11% between July and August.
