(GRAND FORKS, ND) — The jury has received the case of Nichole Rice, accused of the 2007 murder of Anita Knutson.
Closing arguments got underway shortly after 1 p.m., with the jury receiving the case at shortly after 3 p.m. The State rested Monday afternoon, with Nichole Rice’s attorneys resting their case this morning.
It’s unknown whether or not the jury will remain at the Grand Forks County Courthouse until a verdict is reached, or if judge Richard Hagar will send the jury home at the end of the day today, requiring them to return Wednesday.
