K9 tracks down suspect in the woods in subzero temperatures

BECKER COUNTY, Minn. – A Becker County Deputy and K9 find a suspect in the woods during temperatures of five degrees below zero.

Authorities say on Wednesday around 4:15 AM Deputy Bruce tried to stop a suspicious vehicle and a man ran into a wooded area. Bruce found out he had warrants for drugs and domestic violence charges. Bruce and K9 Durman tracked the man through woods and a swamp and he was found behind a tree not moving.

He was taken to a Detroit Lakes hospital and later to jail. Becker County has not named the man.
