Lawsuit filed against Epic Companies founder for unpaid loan

(FARGO) – Documents filed in Cass County District Court in Fargo detail a lawsuit between 7Seven Property Partners and Todd Berning, a West Fargo man. According to court documents obtained Monday, Berning personally guaranteed repayment of a $500,000 note by EOLA Capital, LLC. He entered into the guaranty at the same time EOLA Capital entered into the note and received the loan from 7Seven Property Partners. As of late July, Berning, pursuant to the guaranty, owes a total of $506,933.32 on the loan, which includes interest and late fees.

Court records show multiple attempts for service in-person by law enforcement were unsuccessful.

Berning founded Epic Companies.
