(REGION) – Changes are being announced for leadership at Essentia Health’s West Market, which includes Fargo-Moorhead.
Dr. Devendranath “Dev” Reddy Mannuru is the new chief medical officer for the West Market. Dr. Mannuru succeeds Dr. Richard Vetter, who served in the same capacity for six years. Mannuru moved to Fargo in 2013 and has worked as a hospitalist – as well as holding various academic and clinical administrative roles at Sanford Health in Fargo and the University of North Dakota (UND) School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Dr. Stefanie Geffroh is the West Market President, having served in this role on an interim basis since August 2024. Gefroh has held many leadership positions since joining Essentia more than 20 years ago, including associate chief medical officer, inpatient division chair and women’s and children’s division chair. In addition to her leadership roles, she has continued to see OB/GYN patients in the clinic setting and provide surgical care in Fargo.
